Good Friday was the last day of school before spring break and was the last day of school for Travis until the end of May.  Mrs. Roberts has been so great about keeping him up to speed and preparing work for him to do while he is out in Houston.  So, even though he won’t be in class, we will still stay connected.  After school, we went to the Good Friday Mass at church.  We feel so blessed to be where we are now and thankful for every moment.

Friday Night Lights experience!  Some of Travis’ buddies from our soccer team (Kaiden, Aaron, Matthew) are also playing flag football this spring.  The guys and the rest of the team decided to dedicate their game tonight in honor of Travis.  They invited him to come watch the game and made him an honorary captain of the team.  They presented him with a signed jersey and signed football.  Thanks to Coach Michael, Coach Bruce, Coach Ray, the whole Tennessee Volunteer Flag Football team (Kaiden, Matthew, Aaron, Brandon, Andrew, Bennett, Ray-Ray) and their families for honoring Travis in such a special way.  Your messages of encouragement make us stronger and you are truly helping him (and us) “Fight the Fight.”  Go Vols!
